Mastering ALDFX AI: The Official Copy Trading Setup Guide
Welcome to the future of automated finance.
This guide is the definitive manual for setting up, configuring, and managing your algorithmic trading portfolio on the ALDFX AI platform. Unlike standard copy trading services where you follow other humans, who make mistakes, ALDFX AI connects your capital directly to high-performance, emotionless artificial intelligence.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced trader, this walkthrough will take you from zero to clear, automated execution in under 10 minutes.
Once you have mastered the basic setup and experienced consistent performance, you can move into the phase of Advanced Configuration to further tailor the system to your specific risk tolerance and market outlook. This involves utilizing tools beyond the standard dashboard toggles. For instance, you can implement Session-Based Trading by manually enabling or disabling your algorithms during specific market hours you’ve identified as higher or lower probability through your own audit. You may also engage in Dynamic Lot Sizing, where instead of a fixed lot, you employ a percentage-based model that automatically scales your position size in proportion to your growing account balance, ensuring that your risk percentage remains constant as your capital compounds. Furthermore, sophisticated users can employ the Correlation Shield a manual strategy of not running algorithms on highly correlated pairs simultaneously (e.g., EURUSD and GBPUSD) during high-volatility events to avoid unintended risk concentration. These advanced techniques require a deeper engagement and should only be undertaken once you are completely comfortable with the system's core behavior. They transform your role from a passive allocator to an active strategist, fine-tuning the automated engine to align perfectly with your personal financial architecture and market philosophy.
Building Your Personal Fund: Scaling Automation into a Legacy Asset
Prerequisites: What You Need First
Before we dive into the ALDFX AI dashboard, you need infrastructure in the real world.
1. A MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Account
Broker: You can use any broker you trust. We recommend ECN brokers like IC Markets, Hankotrade, or Vantage for the lowest spreads.
Account Type: Ensure you open a Raw or ECN account. Standard accounts often have higher spreads that eat into profit.
Leverage: We recommend 1:500 leverage. This gives the algorithm room to breathe.
Balance: Minimum recommended balance is $500 for safely trading 0.01 lots.
2. ALDFX AI Subscription
You need an active subscription to access the copy trading engine.

The Psychology of Automation: Cultivating the Disciplined Mindset for Hands-Off Success
This discipline involves consciously shifting your self-identity from a "trader" reacting to every flicker on a chart to a "strategist" and "systems architect" who has designed a process. Your success metric becomes the consistency of the system's operation over hundreds of trades, not the outcome of any single position. By internalizing this mindset, you unlock the true power of automation: the liberation of your time and mental capital, and the removal of emotional volatility from your financial growth. This psychological shift is the final, critical component that transforms advanced technology into genuine, sustained wealth.
Step 1: Connecting Your Trading Account
The first step is to build the bridge between ALDFX AI and your broker. This is done via the secure Profile page.
The Connection Process
Navigate to the Profile section in the ALDFX AI dashboard.
Locate the section titled Connect Trading Account.
You will see three distinct fields:
Broker Name: Start typing your broker (e.g., ICMarkets-SC). Select the correct server from the dropdown (e.g., ICMarketsSC-Live21). Accuracy here is critical.
Password: Your trading password, not the investor password. We need trading rights to open positions.
Click the Connect Account button.
Wait for the status indicator to turn Green.
Troubleshooting: If it turns red or says Auth Failed, double-check your broker server and password. This is the number one common error.
Security Note: Your credentials are encrypted instantly. ALDFX AI does not have permission to withdraw funds from your broker. We only possess trade permissions.
Step 2: Choosing Your Algorithm
Once connected, you need to tell the system what to trade. ALDFX Platform offers specialized algorithms tailored for different assets.
The Contenders
π The Gold King
Asset: XAUUSD (Gold)
Strategy: Aggressive volatility scalping using RSI divergences and price action rejection blocks
Risk Profile: High, targeting 15 to 25% monthly returns
Best For: Growth-focused accounts
π‘️ The Shield
Assets: EURUSD, GBPUSD
Strategy: Mean reversion during the Asian and London sessions
Risk Profile: Low to Medium, targeting 5 to 10% monthly returns
Best For: Capital preservation and steady income
Step 3: Configuration & Launch
This is the most important step. Proper configuration protects your capital.
On the Algos page, verify your connected account is selected in the dropdown at the top.
Locate the card for the algorithm you want to run.
Lot Size Configuration
Rule of Thumb: 0.01 lots per $1,000 balance
Example: If you have $5,000, set Lot Size to 0.05
Warning: Do not over-leverage. Setting 1.00 lot on a $500 account will lead to a fast margin call.
Set this to 20%. If the algorithm hits a floating loss of 20% of your account, it will hard-close all trades to save the remaining 80%.
Toggle the Switch
Flip the switch from OFF to ON
Click Start Algorithm
You will see a confirmation message: Algorithm Started Successfully. The status indicator will pulse green.
Step 4: Monitoring Your Dashboard
Now that the machine is running, your job is to monitor, but not interfere.
The Active Trades View
On the main dashboard, you will see the heartbeat of your operation.
Ticker: The asset being traded, for example XAUUSD
Type: BUY or SELL
Entry Price: Where the algorithm entered the market
Current Price: The real-time market price
P/L: Your floating profit or loss in USD
Understanding Grids
You may notice the algorithm opens multiple trades in the same direction when the market moves against it.
Example: Buy Gold at 2000. Price drops to 1995. Algorithm buys again at 1995.
This is called Grid Trading. It lowers the average entry price, allowing the entire basket of trades to close in profit on a small bounce.
Do not manually close individual grid trades. You will disrupt the mathematical logic of the exit strategy.
Step 5: Managing Profits
The goal is to make money. Here is how to handle it.
When to Withdraw
We recommend withdrawing profits every Friday.
Check if there are open trades.
If the floating loss (drawdown) is low, you can withdraw your profit for the week.
Leave the principal balance in to compound, or withdraw it all. It is your money.
Stopping the Algorithm
If you want to stop trading, for example before a major holiday or election:
Go to the Algos page.
Click Stop Algorithm.
Note: The algorithm will stop opening new trades, but it will manage existing trades until they close.
